In late July, protesters launched a tree sit and encampment outside the small town of Lochiel, Arizona. There, the U.S. government is in the process of building a massive, 30-foot-tall steel wall, with two equally large layers, along the U.S.-Mexico border. Kate Scott, one of the first people on the ground in the fight against this project, spoke with Unicorn Riot about the origins and nature of the encampment.
