A socially-distant car demo took place outside of the Minnesota Legislature building’s parking lot at 12:30 pm calling for extra measures during this pandemic. The demo had four demands: 1. Cancel Rent, Mortgage & Utility Payments — #DebtFreeFuture2. Turn all Vacant Units into Safe Homes for the Houseless — #HomesForAll3. Keep public housing public — #StopSection18 and RAD 4. Free People From Detention & Unsafe Incarceration! —#FreeThemAllThis was the fourth car demo in the Twin Cities since mid-March.
