Jeanette Vizguerra, immigrant rights activist and sanctuary movement leader, spoke with us during the first morning of the second Occupy ICE Denver vigil encampment. This time around the vigil is set up outside the prison company GEO Group Inc’s Aurora ICE Processing Center, and a new focus of the vigil is to highlight the “migrant caravan,” which began in Honduras two weeks ago. The caravan has amassed to nearly 8,000 people seeking asylum in the United States.
