Kurdish Refugees Protest for Dignified Living Conditions at Greece’s Oinofyta Camp

In February 2026, residents of the Oinofyta refugee camp near Athens marched in protest, demanding freedom and the documents needed to rebuild their lives.

Among them were Kurdish families who fled war in Syria, including the city of Kobanî. Trapped in administrative limbo, many spent months, or sometimes even years, at the refugee camp waiting for the chance to begin their lives again.

This short documentary follows one Kurdish family’s search for stability and a future, exploring what human dignity means in Europe today.
