Kandi Jamieson, an artist from Evanston, IL, spoke with Unicorn Riot during a protest march on the last day of the Chicago DNC. She spoke with us about her art collaboration with an artist in the Middle East, which she carried throughout the march. The massive painting has two women on the sides and a heart in the center with “bleeding poppies” underneath. Jamieson told us the painting represents the “caretakers of the world.”
