Joseph Buddenburg, 31, and Nicole Kissane, 28, are being charged with Conspiracy under the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act for allegedly releasing over 5,000 minks. The two supposedly traveled across the country liberating animals from factory farms. Regardless of the fact that these companies kill through anal electrocution to ensure the fur is pristine, these two animal rights activists are the ones being labeled as terrorists. The act passed in 2006 with the lobbying help of ALEC and threatens the two with 10 years in prison and 100k restitution.
