Fourteen Denver students were arrested on Tuesday during a pro-Palestine sit-in at an aerospace and engineering sciences building on the Auraria Campus, which manufactures weapons for Lockheed Martin on-site. The sit-in came after students had a meeting with Dr. Angie Paccione, executive director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Displeased with the meeting, students decided to conduct the sit-in. Law enforcement from Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Rangers, and Auraria Campus Police Department were present and coordinating together.
