On March 20, 2026, a fire was set at a warehouse in Pardubice, Czech Republic – LPP Holdings, a drone and defense manufacturing company that activists allege it has ties to Elbit Systems.
A group calling itself the “Earthquake Faction” claimed responsibility. The underground anti-Israel network framed the incident as an act to oppose the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
In the aftermath of the event, Czech media and official responses intensified scrutiny of pro-Palestinian groups in the country. Activists accused authorities of plotting a smear campaign as several individuals were detained in connection with the case. Supporters refer to them as the “Czech Elbit 10,” describing the arrests as a political “witchhunt” against pro-Palestinian activism.
The case has since sparked serious debate in Czechia over protest and the criminalization of political activism, which is also becoming more prevalent across the world.
One of the interviewees featured in the short documentary was later detained as well, bringing the “Czech Elbit 10” case to what supporters are now calling the “Czech Elbit 11.”
