With the ongoing ICE surge happening across the country, Minneapolis-based Dakota/Boricua rapper Tufawon releases NO ONE IS ILLEGAL, a song and video to “denounce Trump’s fascist initiative and mass deportation campaign.”

Having survived the chaos of Operation Metro Surge in the Twin Cities, Tufawon and Unicorn Riot filmed this music video at the Federal Whipple Building, an ICE detention center at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp where many of Tufawon’s Dakota ancestors died. This is a place of historical significance because Fort Snelling sits at the site of creation for all Dakota people, Bdote. The video features cameos of community members who were active in the fight against ICE. Tufawon says the message is abundantly clear: “NO ONE IS ILLEGAL ON STOLEN LAND.”
