Community Protector Larry “Fox” Mitchell, Gone Too Soon

Larry “Fox” Mitchell shared the story of his grandma being burned alive by the Klu Klux Klan in North Carolina in 2012 and what motivated him to become a community protector. Fox, who recently passed away, was with the MN Freedom Fighters during the summer of 2020 and the George Floyd Uprising.

This interview was taken during a Juneteenth Celebration in North Minneapolis in 2020. This video includes footage of Mitchell and the MN Freedom Fighters providing armed protection to various protests against police terror in the Twin Cities in the Summer of 2020.
