An Israeli airstrike destroyed a building in Khan Younis, Gaza on Feb. 6, 2026. Ibrahim Hadad, a Palestinian civilian directly impacted by the airstrike told Unicorn Riot he lost everything, “as you can see, my only source of income is destroyed. I’ve lost it.”

According to Israel, the airstrikes were in response to attacks on Israeli troops in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip. This is despite a so-called ‘ceasefire’ in which hundreds of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces who’re now occupying over 30% of Gaza.
