After night fell on Feb. 6, 2026, an Israeli airstrike destroyed a house in Khan Younis, Gaza. This was the second house in the war-torn city that was targeted and bombed by Israel on Feb. 6. According to Israel, the airstrikes were in response to attacks on Israeli troops in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip. This is despite a so-called ‘ceasefire’ in which hundreds of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces who’re now occupying over 30% of Gaza.
