Minneapolis Rally Calls for Smith Foundry to be Shut Down

About 40-50 activists & East Phillips residents gathered amid a rain/snow storm in Minneapolis today calling on the Smith Foundry to be shut down. The iron-casting facility has been found to violate health regulations. A recent EPA inspection found the plant emits twice the legal limit of lead.
