In mid-May 2018, Calibre Press presented and the Mall of America Security hosted, a two-day BulletProof training at the Mall of America. A press conference featured community organizers and the mother of Philando Castile, Valerie, who spoke about her son’s death by the shots of former St. Anthony Police Ofiicer Jeronimo Yanez. Yanez had attended the BulletProof training in 2014, two years before killing Philando during a traffic stop.
