The day after Minneapolis Police pepper sprayed peaceful #Mpls2Madison protestors, which included a 10 year old child, the community gathered, to once again take the streets to protest police brutality.
Taye, the 10 year old pepper spray victim, led the march with chants like “I Can’t Sleep”, “My Life Matters”, and “I cant see – Stop macing me”.
The march went to Hennepin Ave and 4th St., down the block from the First Precinct. From there, the community formed a full wall of bodies around the intersection, listened to a speaker and had Taye close out the night with the Assata chant.
