Immigrant Legalization Action at Senator Klobuchar’s Office

Minneapolis, MN – Activists gathered at the office of Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) calling on the Senate Judiciary Committee to sign a bill legalizing the status of over three million immigrants. The protest featured a car blockade on Washington Avenue in downtown Minneapolis during rush hour, clogging up traffic as speeches, chants demanded legalization for all.

Pro-immigration activists are pushing for permanent legalization for around 2.7 million immigrants in the U.S. who are part of the American Dream and Promise Act (dreamers) and ~900,000 immigrants with temporary protected status (TPS). Unicorn Riot live streamed the action:
